I don't understand why so many youth tournaments do the all neutral 2 period styles.
I understand maybe doing it for novice divisions, but why would a kid whose been wrestling for say 4 years have to wrestle this style.
If the kids are working towards doing well at state (one of many goals), why wrestle under totally different rules.
This is our first year wrestling in Ohio and we have never seen this style of tournaments and I have also noticed my son's ground game has suffered.
