Watching this again. My synopsis.

I didn't see stalling in the first - it "felt" different in the arena with the crowd noise than watching it on video. When watching live, I thought 1st stall was ok -- upon further review, my mind has changed. Younger was taking ground but neither wrestler had any real threatening attack. Ross Thatcher was working officials from the beginning -- and I appreciate that. :)

2nd Period: Gessler scores off a beautiful reattack -- and puts an incredible college-esque ride on. Thatcher continues to work officials for a stalling call.

3rd Period: Gessler beautiful switch to escape. 1st stall call comes 12 seconds after escape. ehhh on that call. I didn't see stalling there but that's a whatever for me. BW's coaches begging for a stall call when Gessler goes slide by to firemans then clings on elbows while Younger just pushes in with frong headlock while attempting no offense. 57 seconds left on restart.
2nd stall call is 100% right. Gessler had opportunities to reattack, clamp on front headlock and "look" for go-behind and didn't.
3rd stall call was ??? as Younger did a great job of acting active without any real attack.

How did BW's coaches not get warning for questioning judgement? Twice? But congrats to them though -- they worked it the entire match and without them, Younger loses.

Last seconds of the match have already been discussed.

I can see why 2nd and 4th were called (even if I don't like 4th) -- 1st and 3rd were, as Dave Schultz used to say, the dark side of the grey for me.

Younger was dominated in all three positions and won. uffda

Jim-

We are good.

I just don't agree.
