Big win for Colt. Good confidence builder heading into nationals. It's really his first big win in a while.

Maybe Mike's freshman year, but it was definitely not like what just happened in Ann Arbor...

Is there a link that I can go to for results or even brackets.
I swear I remember reading them last year but can't seem to find it now.

Hank and Ben-
Pucillo rarely gave up a td in the last three years.
Defense is asserted through head/hand position and reaction. This may be assessed in degrees and a certain threshold must be met in order to successfully counter. When the athlete has demonstrated an amazingly high degree of counter effectiveness and is suddenly lacking, it seems odd and out of character.
Obviously, Mike is impaired to a degree. I don't know why, but I am sure it has been tough on him with the degree of excellence that he has previously shown.
I am a Pucillo fan and hope that whatever physical ailment alleviates between now and the NCAAs, but if not, so be it. The situation is what it is.
The only thing I know is that he is competing with all he has at the moment.
As most people on this board, been there done that bought the postcard & don't want to go back..

Rex: Thanks for the reminder. Your points are understood. It's easy to feel discouraged when the guys you root for don't do as well as you want. Without knowing the details, I should know better than to say a word. All the best to Iron Mike and the boys.

Hank-
No worries, just giving a different perspective, waiting for the Big 10s to show on the BTN

I'm sure he is. Mostly I just feel for the guy--it has to be very frustrating. I'm under no illusion that he owes me or any other fan anything, though. I'm grateful to watch him regardless, but it's tough to understand.

If you're referring to competing for NCAA titles, I think you might be a little more on your own than you think.

Morrison is leading 6-3 after 2 periods in what I assume is the 7th place bout.
