It was a very well written article. It is nice to see these student-athletes put this situation into perspective and handle it with dignity.

While still expressing the very real hurt it brought.
It made me like the Hawks more -- but just a little more. :)

My thought, as I read it, was that the wrestlers seem like genuinely nice guys who happen to wrestle really well.
Their fans, OTOH, are complete wack jobs.

Every time I read something about the Bull I’m more impressed. Same with Kemerer.
But I have yet to totally buy in to the coronation of Iowa as book it now champs. They have one sure champ ( Lee). They have other contenders. They also have guys capable of AA or nothing (141, 157, 184, 197, in my opinion) Seedlings could have a lot to do with their success.
They are likely champs. But PSU could have four champs (141, 165, 174 and 184) plus other AAs. TOSU could have three champs (141, 149, and 197) and other AAs. Bonus points could mean a lot. PSU tends to run those up.
Iowa has had absolutes in the past. I just don’t think this is one of them. Favored? Yes.
