Amazing wrestler. Amazing person. Amazing collegiate career. Thank you, Nate.

His willingness to drop to 125 is the ONLY reason we could have even entertained the hope of taking down PSU. THANK YOU NATO!

It got dusty in here when you walked off the mat.

I’ll remember Nate as a class act. Always respectful of his opponents. When Milhof injured his leg in the 2nd round this year and forfeited, Nate patted him on the back as he walked off the mat. Just one example of him being full of class. A rare breed in an era littered with look-at-me prima donnas.

Nate, his toughness, his devotion, his incredible focus, his supreme discipline, his consistency and his character are an inspiration to me. One of my favorite wrestlers ever.

A warrior!

Seriously - as if we ALREADY didn't think he was a warrior, he goes and does this!? Unreal.

Not only was Nate wrestling injured as a senior but making a huge cut for the good of his team. Tough as nails and remarkably consistent, we (fans) got spoiled having a wrestler this good.

My utmost respect for a guy that is both excellent wrestler and person. Reinforcing the huge sacrifice he made for the team. Hoping he puts the puzzle together at the senior level and makes Olympic and World teams. Kind of wish the clinch nonsense from a high single was still in effect. He would have killed at it.

That was truly heroic what Nathan did for the team this year, between the cutting and the wrestling with a serious injury.

NaTo also did a very good job hiding whatever his injury was and not favoring his knee. I never could tell what was actually hurt, and that had to help him compete so that opponents wouldn't exploit it.

He will be missed, but I'm also excited to see what Brakan Mead can do next season with another year to grow into 125 and some D1 wrestling experience under his belt.

As much as I’d love to see NATO make a team as well, I cannot agree to bring back the clinch. Buh. 😬
