Romero lost a close match to Labriola, who is going to Neb. So he is likely to get several chances at redemption in the future. Singletary won. Personally, I think we should have gone after Desanto at 126."

Where is Desanto signed? He probably has two of the biggest back to back HS victories of all time in the U.S. I can't recall someone that knocked off a potential 4xer and an actual 4xer in back to back matches. And he drubbed Mejia good.

Desanto committed to Drexel. That's looking kind of like Lebron, coming out of high school, and going to play in China instead of the NBA. At the same time, I have no problem with Drexel having a stud in their lineup. Helps their program.
So how soon until he announces he's transferring to PSU?

Vitali Arujau might well have been the best wrestler to take the mat last night for either squad. He is amazing.

DeSanto is going to Drexel. He committed in the summer/fall. Do remember that until he beat an injured Lee and majored Mejia, he was an elite but not super-elite wrestler. Keep in mind he is a two-time Super 32 runner-up, losing on both occasions to Joey Silva.
