Maybe we could borrow one from Mich St.

Aside--MSU is not a good team right now but they have been looking more competitive under first year head coach, Roger Chandler. Glad to see "The Hammer" has his program moving in the right direction.

While I agree that it sucks that we only have 1 125lb wrestler, obviously that wasn't the plan. Many thought Tomasello would be a career 125 and don't forget, we had Nick Roberts as well. He was DII National Championship last year and this is his senior season. It would be nice to still have him on the roster. He redshirt freshman season, Roberts took 6th at the B1G's and had 28 wins..

Bryce West from Solon (Iowa) is ranked 8th at 120 lbs and is a senior. InterMat shows him as uncommitted. I have no idea if he wants to wrestle in college, grades, character, etc...

But if there aren't any red flags, I wonder if the Bucks have kicked the tires on him?

I have seen reports that OSU has offered 113 Braken Mead from Olentangy Liberty and they also have the Koontz brothers from Wisconsin coming in next year. That could be 3 potential 125.

Mead would be ideal. Get him in with these kids from Wisconsin and at least have some depth at the weight. I also believe they've spoken to Jordin James (Beford). He's not a big time prospect but there's upside.

Too bad Tyson Long (Shaker) doesn't plan to wrestle in college. He just beat Logan Heil and is very nice sized for the weight class. Good student too. Built like a brick shthouse. He has the tools to be a good D1 wrestler.

Don't forget about the lighter Decatur coming in two years behind this crew. I'd be really excited for Mead if he was included in that list. Thats quite a bit of depth for our first two weights. How much in scholly $$ though?

I wonder if Shad Quinn is interested in wrestling in college? To me he seems more college ready than some of the others mentioned. Tough break for OSU since there really isn't a whole lot of available national caliber type Ohio lightweight seniors this year.
