It looks like Mizzou wins 6-4 in term of weight classes. 125,141,149,157,165,and 197. Ohio State will win 133, 174, 184, and 285.

What might help the Bucs on Thurs. is that McGhee hasn't wrestled yet this year and Manley only had one match in Nov. and won a narrow tie breaker. They may not be 100%.

Manley broke his hand and Zach Synon will most likely be the starter. Manley isn't out for the season so it's not out of the question that he's not wrestling on Thursday.
Pletcher needs to stay out of Synon's double underhooks and he can win the match.
It's also been mentioned that Miklus is injured and needs time to recover so he too maybe a question mark for this upcoming dual.

125 thru 149 are all intriguing matchups. 184 will be interesting as well if Miklus is in the lineup. If Mcghee can't go at 125, they also have Aaron Assad who's almost as good.

125: McGhee v J-Rod - McGhee hasn't wrestled much and did lose to Kraisser at the All-Star meet. I think J-Rod can win that match up and is definitely the favorite over Assad.
OSU 3-0
133: Nate v Eiderman - I think NaTo takes advantage of one of Eirman's funky attempts and wins by 5-6, at least.
OSU 6-0
141: Pletcher v Manley - I think Pletcher will keep it close. I don't recall Manley being a high page, big point guy.
OSU 6-3
149: Micah v Mayes - I think Micah is wrestling so much better at the higher weight. I've got him in the finals at the end of the year.
OSU 9-3
157: Ryan v Lavalee - If Jake gasses hard this could be bonus.
OSU 9-7
165: Burcher v Lewis - Lewis is a beast on top and will look for a fall here. Unfortunately, I think he gets it.
Missouri 13-9
174: Bo v Wisman - Epperly pinned Wisman and I think Bo will be looking to get those points back.
OSU 15-13
184: Myles v Miklus - I think Myles is the favorite, but not substantially. He needs to wrestle well and get out from bottom when necessary.
OSU 18-13
197: Moore v Cox - Cox doesn't always open up, but I think he'll be looking for points here. I think he pushes for a major.
OSU 18-17
285: Snyder v Austin Myers - Myers is a little bit of a message board legend on jjhuddle, yappi and some others. His father is an idiot who made an ass out of himself regularly and really brought a lot of hate towards a kid who didn't deserve it. As to the match, Walz majored Myers and Snyder will tech him.
OSU 23-17
Overall - A flip at 149 or 184 and this is a tie. Less bonus from Bo or Kyle and OSU mint be in trouble. It's going to be close and I hope the home crowd pushes the Bucks overt the edge.
Wish I could be there, but I'll be watching on BTN. #GoBucks

Miklus will not be wrestling. Myles, Kyle and Bo are all likely to TF.
Daniel Lewis is not going to pin Cody Burcher. No way. And Jake Ryan is a very good defensive wrestler. If he eschews his offense for the dual, it will be a close match.
On the other hand, Micah is going up against a brick shthouse. Mayes will play defense and look for his double. Think of him as a better version of Lugo.
I think the first four bouts are key for the dual. Bucks really just need to split.

Hank, I'm a Mustang like Cody, so I hope you're right, but I just remember Lewis riding Bo for 4+ minutes last year. He rode Dieringer for a long time too.
I worry about Cody, being an undersized 165, wearing down.
If no Miklus I think OSU is definitely the favorite. They might only need 4 wins.

JJ: I know Lewis can ride Cody. But that's not the same as pinning him.

Can you still by tickets the night of the dual? I plan on going and taking a friend.

A poster on themat.com said that Mayes would not be wrestling tonight and McGhee's status was still unknown.

This match seems to have lost some of the luster that it had just a week ago.
The 149 match alone would have been worth the price of admission. I hope we get the match-up at 126. Jose is wrestling well & this would be huge for his confidence rolling into the B1G dual season.
I am excited to see the much debated debut of Pletcher.
Either way, it should be an exciting night at St. John Arena.
Go Bucks!
