Thinking about how cool it would have been to have had Isaiah White....

Ryan Harris took to the mats for the first time in a year. Nice to see him competing again....

Elijah Clearly has some talent. We'll see how he develops at Ohio State....

Bucks have issues with depth in a few areas where it might get tested...125 and 157. They also don't really have a good backup at 285 as Tav is apparently injured. Ouch.

I'm not sure Isiah White is a big upgrade...if at all..compared to Cody Burcher. I can't believe I'm typing it given credentials, but I could see Burcher evolve into that Blake Kaplan model: completely unheralded coming in, but he chips away and chips away. He's only a sophomore eligibility.

I've been thinking this for a while now too. He's wrestling top notch talent closely, wins every match he should, and has solid top game with a pinner's chance with his cradle.

You're right. You can just see how well coached Burcher was in high school when it comes to his mat game. If Bucks had White, Burcher could possibly slide down to 157. It would be good to have some competition at that weight. Anyway...it's moot as White is a Falcon.

I've been thinking 2018 looks like this...

125-
133- Pletcher
141- Hayes
149- MJ
157- Ryan/Burcher
165- Carr
174- Romero
184- Martin
197- Moore
285

WOWSERS.

I could totally see Jordan ending up at 157 by the time he's done.

Thinking of this year does anyone have any insight on Nato injury? I was wondering if there was any chance he is working on getting to 125 and won't wrestle till Jan. to limit his weigh ins and if Pletcher keeps improving they pull his RS?

I'm 98% sure this won't happen but a guy can dream.
