I think this kids confidence has got to be out of this world. Didn't anyone tell him he's not supposed to pin a kid like Micic? And this is the kid Pletcher teched in the wrestle offs. WOW!

Pletcher over Guillen 4-1. All OSU final.

Burcher collapses in the third and loses 6-4.

McWhirter, who beat Jake Ryan, just beat Griffin of Purdue to make the finals. Makes me feel a little better about that loss.

Micah with the major over Oliver, who's ranked in the top 10!

Micah going to be a big problem for the 149 weight class.

Overall, this is a nice showing by the Bucks that performed. Other than Jake losing to an under the radar kid from NIU, there's a lot to feel good about. I particularly like Micah plowing through the field including an MD over 6th ranked Oliver in the finals. Freshmen Pletcher and Moore won also while unheralded Fitzgerald put together a monster tourney.

My concern right now would be the bookends--125 and 285. If J-Rod doesn't go, there's no one (Tom Ryan has got to address 125 before next season). And if Tav is no longer competing, the Bucks will struggle to be competitive at this weight in duals that don't include Kyle Snyder.

GFitz hits a wicked cemet job (mixer). I'd assume that's what it was.

Brady, I was not there but I can almost 100% say that it was. That thing is nasty.
