Sorry if I missed mentioning someone I talked to."

Now my feelings are hurt!!
BTW, maybe it is only me (and ignore this if it is) but the intermissions between every match grew needlessly long and tiring. The people around me seemed to think the same way. I guess I don't care for this sport being turned into pro basketball. The action on the mat was enough.
Does anyone know what the attendance was?

Ha!!!! Jim - on my drive this evening I remembered you and Clint (Endicott). There may have been another one. Bah! #MemoryIsFading
ps: agreed 100% about the intermissions! But that's when I saw John. ...like clockwork.

This was ridiculous. It totally screwed up the continuity of the night. At least with NBA they bring the dance team out to entertain fans during timeouts. They don't create timeouts for the dance team! I can only imagine these out of touch coaches sitting around a big table discussing how they can make the event more "fan friendly" or approachable.

I hated the Cav's Spirit Team delays. They were streaming interviews with the winners between matches. They had to fill the time with something, but it didn't need to be the loud music. I had a headache.

It was pretty obvious that something was going on but people in the venue had no idea what it was.
I might suggest that the interviews with the winners should have been shown to the folks in attendance on the overhead. I suspect most people would rather have listened to the interviews rather than another "dance contest" and t-shirt give away.
BTW, was the headache worth the seat you had? We saw you down there!

While I could definitely have done without the number of intermissions, the kids enjoyed the entertainment. That's significant, I think. I'm not saying this is the way to go, but it's worth noting that people are trying things, which is a good thing.
Positives: Great wrestling. Great people. The spotlight on the mat. The clinic. Wrestlers learning from and meeting Kyle Snyder, Cary Kolat, and Jeff Jordan. Team bonding on the car rides and when we went to CSU's cafeteria between the clinic and the match. Large attendance. The venue. Little kids breakdancing that one time they had the little kids do it.
Negatives: Number of intermissions. Cost of special event parking in the South Garage is $20.

Dan: you get it. And I love it! Thanks for taking charge and letting those kids attend.
