Bummed. Long over due though. I wonder if that takes us out of the Fix running. Who fills his shoes...Logan?

First, congrats to Lou Rosselli and his family. He appears to be one of the most well respected men in the sport at all levels and he has earned this opportunity.
Big hit for the Bucks. He ran the Ohio RTC. Not sure who replaces him. Timing is tough too.
Might Logan head to Oklahoma to train? Who replaces Rosselli on the staff? Who runs the Ohio RTC?
Lots of questions to be answered. Coach Ryan's always difficult job has just got even harder.

Buh. 100 pounds of bitter-sweetness.
You hate to see a guy like Lou leave. The value he adds to our program is evident by the success we've witnessed since his arrival. His departure will leave a gap that I personally do not think anyone can fill. I hope I'm wrong.
Sweet Lou, you are a good man. The Buckeye community understood we were getting something special when you were brought in. Now that we realize your worth, it is difficult to consider who your replacement will be.
I hope to see you in St. Louis or even Cleveland.
Dear J,
Rise like yeast. Time to shine!

Logan heading to OU to train doesn't make sense to me, they don't have anyone there for him to train with at OU. OUs facilities, campus and town is nice. Should be interesting to see how he recruits to OU.
Good Luck Rosselli, you'll be missed at tOSU.

I think the answer to the following question is no , but I'll ask it. Does Lou leaving affect Snyders decision to stay and train? I think Tervel fills his role with Kyke but Lou was/is a big part of Kyle's training
Will we see an addition of a coach from outside the steel wood complex or shuffling of roles for a short term solution?
Who is the 1 guy you would go after?

Very few individuals in this sport are irreplaceable. I believe Lou is one of those guys.

Lou Rosselli will be sorely missed and OU got a first rate coach at an opportune time. This is a slam dunk hire for them. Congrats, coach!

I have no insight...I just an internet schmoe...but it COULD shuffle:
HC TR
1st Asst Jaggers
2nd Asst/RTC Tervel
Volunteer Stieber
IF they decide to keep returning staff and bring in someone, what about as RTC Head Coach:
Terry Steiner
Brandon Slay
Nate Carr
Tony Purler
Kendall Cross
Jamill Kelly
Doug Schwab
Brent Metcalf

Brandon Slay seems to have a fantastic relationship with a good number of cadets/juniors on the national scene. In my mind, that's the best choice, if they were to go outside of the current staff. Then again, Nate Carr has a solid history in state and brings his own impressive recipe (along with a coveted recruit potentially). That's an impressive list though.

http://buckeyextra.dispatch.com/content/stories/2016/08/30/ohio-state-wrestling-assistant-coach-departing.html?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed
Ryan said J Jaggers, a two-time NCAA champion for OSU and a member of the coaching staff for eight seasons, will move up to become the team’s top assistant, although he won’t have the title of associate head coach.
Dlagnev, who finished fifth in freestyle heavyweight at the Rio Olympics, will become a full-time OSU assistant coach, according to Ryan. Originally, Dlagnev was going to become a volunteer assistant Sept. 12.
Dlagnev is also going to take over the Ohio RTC as head coach in the wake of the departure of Rosselli, who was a two-time All American for Edinboro and a member of the 1996 U.S. Olympic team.
Ryan also said that Stieber, the 2015 winner of the Hodge Trophy (wrestling’s Heisman), will not be a member of the OSU wrestling as was previously announced last January.
Ryan said Stieber changed his plans after failing to make this past U.S. Olympic team, and he’ll now instead concentrate on his training at the Ohio RTC, where athletes work out alongside the OSU wrestlers.
Stieber’s decision means OSU now needs to fill a third assistant coach position. Ryan said he’s looking at candidates and a hire should be made soon.
