speaking of "wingman", on this great American holiday, how many know who John Glenn's wingman was in Korea?
Baseballs greatest hitter Ted Williams, took time off for TWO Wars as fighter pilot and still compiled remarkable baseball career. Duty, Honor, Country meant something to him. ....Bob Feller too, one war but was gone over 4 years.

"I can't argue with that. History will look back at this election as the two most disliked cadidates of all time. I find it unbelievable that a country with this much talent can't field two better cadidates. It's sad."

Michael, what I find sad is that these two, who I believe will both be horrid presidents, is less about them and more about the slide America is on. I think neither the Elephants nor the Donkeys are close to solving the problems of this country - because the citizens of this country, as a whole, lack the backbone, the integrity, and the morality to do what needs to be done.
We are in deep, deep trouble and are shoveling down farther while being told and believing the lie that we are getting closer to droid level than the fire waiting to consume this land.

I am not sure what you are trying to say here. Would you be willing to elaborate?

When I saw the film, The Big Short, I realized how truly broken our system is.

Great movie!
In this case the book was even better, I thought.

There's no accountability for lying to the public. Hillary has been busted lying plenty of times. Trump lies literally every time he speaks. It's his national pastime. It's sad.

Lying is only part of it. The gravity of this e-mail matter is not being fully grasped by many people---
FBI Director stated: during her tenure as Secretary of State Clinton has been ---and i quote the Director -- "Extremely careless with highly classified information" including Top Secret. Evidence shows throughout her tenure as Sec State.
in the documentary of General Eisenhower's decision to launch the D-day Armada in 1944, a staff General officer in a restaurant had too much to drink and blurted out that the launch "would be coming soon".
Though the man was Ike's friend and former classmate at West Point, Eisenhower had the MP's place the General in custody, ordered him reduced in rank and immediately shipped back to the United States. ....this was considered the severity for a one-time ooooops "careless handling" of top secret info in war time.
We ARE at war now, our survival is at stake every day.
