If there is one attribute or character quality that I now have in adulthood that I can look back and recognize that wrestling was the primary catalyst for instilling in me, it would be the ability to persevere.

I'm in sales and I see people fail every single day. But I rarely see a wrestler fail. The common denominator? Mental toughness!!!

Wrestling gave me the ability to live with continual aches and pains caused by, what else!, wrestling.

It took a long time but the biggest lesson I carried into life from wrestling was that if you gave your best in preparation there are no regrets in the outcome. Changed my life when it happened.
