Quote from Bob Preusse's post:

""bookemdano --- The Answer is:

125 Tomo
133 Pletcher or JRod (true frosh Pletcher looks good)
141 Keshawn
149 Micah
157 Jake
165 Kresevic or Burcher
174 Bo
184 Myles
197 Moore
285 Snyder"

165- are Seth Williams, Ryan Harris, and Dominic Prezzia not in the equation? It would seem to me that at least a couple of those guys would be in the hunt. I remember hearing that Harris had surgery. Is he ok?

Also, does Burcher have no shot at starting at 157? If I recall, he and Jake were real close.

Harris will never be at 165. Some combo of Burcher and Kresevic strikes me as your most likely bets at 165. Burcher showed a lot of promise last season. Is he up for the grind? Is he big enough at the weight?

Looks like 165 will be a work in progress. Marinelli, Hall, and now White...Coach Ryan has to be shaking his head.

Thanks for the info.

According to the Flow guys is Bo Nickal could be at 184 and Christian P. thinks he will be there. They also don't think Hall will even be enrolled at PSU this year.

I wouldn't be shocked if Hall never wrestles in college.

I like Bo Jordan's chances at a national title even more, now that I hear Realbuto might be moving to 165 and Nickal moving to 184. It could be Jordan vs. Valencia in the finals!

It's also good to hear the Nickal Martin rivalry should continue this coming season.

Another fun rivalry to look forward to in 2016-17: Martinez vs. Realbuto.

Should be a topic of it's own. Most anticipated match-ups of the new season.

Prepared to be shocked!
Mark Hall is currently taking Summer session classes at University Park and they finish next week. He will redshirt this season and as a student-athlete will be on the team roster.

Here is proof per PSU student directory...
Name: Mark John Hall II
Title: UNDERGRAD STUDENT
Campus: UNIVERSITY PARK CAMPUS

I hope he wrestles there but if you listen to the Flow guys who are pretty well connected they seem to think he will RS and that it makes sense for both parties to have him sit so things can shuffle out. I would like to know what needs to shuffle out? To me it seems as if C Pyles knows something more about the situation but won't say.

Check out 48 minute mark.

In a near-perfect world, my assessment would be similar. There's even room for improvement here and there. With that said, generally speaking, a lot more can go wrong than can go right.

I was thinking about doing this a couple of days ago but didn't, so I'll bite:

125: Nato is Top 2. As much as it pains me to say it, He and Gillman are equals, it depends on the day.
133:I think Jose starts and Pletcher Red-shirts. That said, I don't think either one AA's this year, but maybe the next year.
141: I like Hayes, No. 5 or higher. Had a solid red-shirt year.
149: I'll agree with Micah at 5, but hoping for #3.
157: I like Jake! I think he can sneak into the No. 8 slot this year. Had his best offense all year against JoJo at the NCAA'a. He just needs to put it all together as a RSSO. - If you look at rankings from the end of last year, and take out the seniors, Jake is right there at No. 8.
165: No match won at NCAA'a. - May not qualify for NCAA's. Last year, Martin at 197 was a lot higher probability of getting an invite than anyone in 165 this year will be.
175: I like Bo to win it.
184:Your top 4 pick is a safe, smart, conservative, calculated guess. Screw that, I'm going for a finals visit with Dean to take second.
197: A few months ago I would have agreed with your top 12 pick, but after winning the world team invite at the higher weight, I'll pick Kollin Moore as a top 4. - He could have an NCAA tourney this year, like Myles did last year, because I think he is growing by leaps and bounds. And training with Snyder doesn't hurt you at all.
285: I agree with you. - UNDEFEATED - TWO-TIME CHAMP!
