Quote from Matt Mace's post:

"So impressed by Moore! He just took 2 straight for the right to represent the US at JR World Championships.

When he drops to 197, I think he immediately enters the AA conversation."

yes and ohio st enters the team title conversation.

And for hard work and improvement, who would Moore's workout partners be in the OSU room? - Maybe Kyle Snyder? Maybe Myles Martin? Maybe Bo Jordan?

That is a great bottom half of the lineup for OSU next year.

looks more & more likely Isaiah White not entering Ohio st, probably going to OTC. .. Notre Dame college was also in the picture.

loss of Marinelli a huge blow.

The news on White is depressing. Grades?

I think the reason why is irrelevant, not having an incoming blue chip recruit at 165# hurts the team. If White is unable to attend the 2016-2017, hopefully he'll go to a lower division school, resolve whatever the issue is and return the following year.

There are 3 weights that need serious attention. I know Ryan is out their recruiting so hopefully he can get some those weights filled ASAP.

165 Kresevic or Burcher
174 Bo
184 Myles
197 Moore
285 Snyder

I hope this is it, unless another 165 comes along. Seems healthier for most of wrestlers. Problem is the match ups Micah and Myles are pushed into: Retherford and Dean.

Still, this team can title hunt with legit title contenders in Nato, Bo, and Snyder and plenty of opportunities for AAs.

In this situation, I always wonder if finding a 1-year grad-school transfer fix (like Rella) isn't the way to go?

Best solution for Bucks would be to have Bo go 165, MM at 174 and Rozema at 184....if Bo and Myles are comfortable with the cuts.

Failure to land/develop a top 165 prospect for several years is really bizarre. I understand that it can be hard to find a 125 or 285. But the 165 situation should have been dealt with. Of course, bad luck has played a role. Marinelli said yes then no. Mark Hall was coming until Cael asked him to the dance. Now White. SMH. Oh, well. Bucks will have a fine squad and can count on a few more years of high finishes. But they have not been able to capitalize on having an NCAA team title and a world champion the way one would have hoped. Recruiting is a tricky business. Glad it's not my job.

On flip side, Zahid Valencia will likely be at 174 (along with Nickal), and I like Bo's chances of beating him better than Martin's.

I ultimately agree that it would be better to have Bo at 65 and Myles at 74, but it is a close call. Close enough that if the wrestlers prefer to be at 174/184, then I think that's the right call.

What are the chances #12 at 170 E. Cleary could come in and compete for 165 if Bo and Myles move up?

Unless Cleary has improved a lot, he's not ready.
