With that said, I'm excited moving forward for the future of the 65kg division in the US with Pico, Logan, and Retherford all competing there for the foreseeable future. Iron sharpens iron.

OUCH!!! Logan falls to Kennedy 10-3. A TD to his back followed almost immediately by 3 laces put Logan in a 10-1 hole after 1. Once again...big moves...

Quote from Bob Preusse's post:

"Pico should be a high school senior, beat Micah Jordan 2012 Ironman 4-3, Dean Heil 3rd at 132.
"

Ke-Shawn wrestled Aaron Pico 13 times in kids youth wrestling. Aaron is about a month older than Ke-Shawn. Anthony Pico raised a very humble young man in Aaron. Competing against each other that much, allowed us to become good friends over the years. Even back then, you could tell that Aaron was special.

My feeling in general was that Jordan Oliver was the most talented of the bunch but his heart wasn't in it. Or the weight cut was killing him.

It will be interesting to see who sticks around for the next four years at this weight.

How did JO do after his loss to Pico? Did he even stick around to finish the tournament?

I'll be rooting for him in the finals, I think he has the best shot to medal in the Olympics (if we qualify the weight) given his dedication to FS after leaving high school.

Congrats to Tervel Dlagnev. He will represent the USA in the Olympics out of the Ohio RTC.

Confession: I'm devastated by Logan's loss. I'm sure he feels worse. He had the win in sight....and then it went away. Such a hard sport. Molinaro is arguably the most unlikely guy to have won the weight but he did it. Congrats to him on scraping together three amazing wins.

Still feel terrible for Logan.

Felt even worse when Tommy lost to Mocco in 2008.

since we're confessing, I must say, I hate that Molinaro won the trials. I don't like his style, I don't think he's an exciting wrestler and I don't think he has much of a chance to do anything in Rio, if he's even able to qualify the weight.

Mat 4 is gone. Keep getting Mat 3. Doesn't matter if I use browser or NBCSports app.
