This was one of the best, all around performances a KSU squad has turned in during the past 2 or 3 seasons. With McGuire out with an injury suffered against Northern Illinois the night before, KSU started the dual in the hole. Although he lost by a major, Vinas gave Peters all he could handle and the final would have been much closer if Del could have converted on any of the several good shots he had. Down 10-0, the next 7 Flashes put Ws on the board in some hard fought contests. Tutolo had another big win while wrestling up. James also won while up a class and with a bum ankle. Suglio wrestled one of his better matches of the year, leading Cabell well into the 3rd. Kent hosts CMU on 2/14 to determine 2nd best in the MAC. After the Chips, KSU faces Edinboro.
