I wonder if Bo to 174 was an issue for him. I could see that being something he doesn't want to have to worry about.

He is a high school kid. These ebb and flow. Guessing enough times at enough colleges does not mean one is right. . . Or wrong.
Predicting the desires of a teenager is fraught with peril. Terrill Pryor acted just like this. It turned out ok.

the big problem was losing Marinelli, that put us into the high risk Hall sweepstakes.

Since Hall will not becoming to tOSU, we now need 165# wrestle this year and a 174# wrestler for the future. If PSU gets both Hall and Spencer Lee, PSU will be outstanding for the next 5-6 years.

Really, I'm surprised to hear that based on comments regarding his academic standings. If White happens to attend tOSU, he's going to need a strong academic support system.
I'm sure Isaiah would do fine but he'll have to really dedicate himself academically.
He would fit nicely at 165#.

Heard White was doing better in school. Get him in and get him the right support. He's a superb competitor.
Nebraska just landed another guy in the 165-174 range. My guess is they're not getting Hall either.

If international success is a big goal of Hall's then I think he ends up at OSU.
Cael is a great coach and Olympic champion but when is the last time someone from PSU went on to do great thinks in freestyle? Now look at OSU record with Freestyle success and I don't think it compares. Plus OSU has proven freshman can come in and win national titles when is the last time PSU can say that?
p.s. I didn't do any research on PSU record in freestyle so I could be totally wrong.

They are pretty decent actually--they have produced more world medals than the ohio rtc. Franklin Gomez, Jake Varner, Enock Francois (fluke but still medalled).

In the time it took you to make this post you could have done research that would've debunked your argument.

Ben I assume you are talking about the Nittany Lion Wrestling club. I know Varner and Gomez wrestled for the club but Enock profile says he was with NYAC and coached with Finger Lake Wrestling Club.

It wasn'the Francois. It was Jamie Espinal, 2012 Olympic silver at 185 (or whatever that weight was in '12)
