nope
if i didnt already know it from reading AWNs Ron Good over the years, i wouldnt get it either, i'd prob guess Cael, Mocco, Dake -- and be wrong on 2 of 3
btw Dake, he was No. 1 as a rookie at 141…..but the following year he moved up to 149 and was the 4 seed behind Darian Caldwell #1 and Molinaro #2. Caldwell got hurt and didn't place. Dake 8-1 over Molinaro.

"Tommy Rowlands?
Not sure about freshman year or year he beat Mocco in Finals have to believe he was 1 seed sophomore and junior year"

not Tommy---- im thinking Tommy a 1 seed only his Soph & Senior year.
...frosh year lost to the Illliois guy lockhart in RideOut, a crushing bitter defeat,
...tommy beat Mocco in finals his soph year in RO, not sure which of them was higher seed??? --
...Jr year would not have been 1 seed as he didnt have great season, lost to Mocco during season i think at NWCA duals but tommy couldve made finals if he hadnt got hurt in Qtrs-- once again tommy had bad luck.
Sr year he beat Penn st kid in finals."

Tommy lost the coin flip both times, but he managed to ride out Mocco.
I remember thinking, when he lost the coin flip to Mocco, "you've got to be kidding me."

u right, great job Deven, u should post more often, a guy with your knowledge. Story on Krieger front page InterMat right now for those who want to know more.
Krieger, 86-89 --beat defending champ Jim Hefferman one final, "only" a 2x champ, but a 1 seed each year. One of only 3 #1 seeds each year along with Pat Smith & Cael. Krieger was the first one. Took 5th, first, 2nd, first.
Ron Good tells me:
Kreiger great NCAA competitor. Lost only to two guys (only 3 losses in 4 years)). Scott Turner of NC St beat him twice, both in OT. Somehow Joey McKenna Clemson beat him 6-4 in consolations.

Thanks, Bob - the courtesy is much appreciated! Long time visitor to the site. A lot of great posters here. That being said, I never skip over a post that you or Rex Holman take the time to write. Thanks so much for all you do for amateur wrestling and for sharing your immense knowledge and experiences.

Ben, yes Branch appear to be the answer the last unseeded, Hank got it too.
as it turned out i was in error on Skove, he was a 6th seed. --Brady got 2 of the 3, well done.
