Thank you for your service.
I really enjoy the freedoms I have, especially in light of history and global consideration.
Whenever I hear a jet fighter fly across the sky, I think, "That is the sound of freedom..."

Awesome; thanks for sharing.
I'd be curious who of the dot.net family served.
Gran Torino and Marky Mark come to mind....others?

Leo Zimmer served. Well, kind of. He was in the Navy. That's almost like serving. ;-)

My WWII service was in what was then called the U. S. Army Air Corps. Mostly stateside, but during VE Day and VJ Day I was stationed on foreign soil. . .in Texas. Every week or so thousands of us from Sheppard Field stormed nearby Wichita Falls. We outnumbered the residents at least 10 to 1, which is not a good ratio for GIs vs the local girls.
