After Beat the Streets we'll all have a better idea how good Joey Davis really is. I do not want to miss this match. Will he do better than Bo?

Mike: It IS freestyle, but i would imagine Mr. Davis fares similar to BoJo. ...unless, due to the match being freestyle, someone locks on a trapped-arm gut wrench. #CallItADay

I think freestyle goes in Dierenger's favor. I would love to see this match wrestled folkstyle. I am a bigger fan of freestyle rules right now, but I think Dierenger will roll in this match. folkstyle would provide a more even playing field. Dierenger is a world medalist, and as Mark pointed out a leg lace or arm trap can blow a match wide open. You tend to see the more inexperienced freestylers get hit with those. I.E BoJo vs Miller last summer wrestling freestyle. In folk that is a much closer match.

Surprised that there isn't more chatter about this match.
First period was pretty competitive, but Dieringer cracked it open in the 2nd period and came dangerously close to the tech. Props to Davis for taking the match and testing himself against the cream of the crop.
