I noted awhile back that the front page of the dotnet was spruced up with relative information.

Did you do this SAC Kornblut or someone else?

SAC = Supreme Allied Commander

Just in case some are wondering.

(Justin: I know, I know. It should go without saying. Just saying.)

or could be Strategic Air Command- before the missiles era- based in Omaha, founded by General Curtis LeMay, an Ohio st University engineering graduate. LeMay put real fear into the Soviets for 25 years of Cold War, kept Kruschev up at night and America safe with his 24-7 B-52 bombers always in the air strategy.

General Curtis LeMay was Walt Kowalski of GranTorino fame TEN times over.

LeMay famous for chomping on cigar and saying his strategy was to "Bomb em back to the StoneAge." ---he played big part in keeping America safe as the Cold War generations recall.

LeMay was the youngest four-star general since US Grant when he received his fourth star at age 44:

as Jack Nicholson articulated in A Few Good Men, "Much as you dislike me, you need me on this wall"

today as much as ever America depends on a few good men.
