Well crap. Garrett just gave up the pin when he was thrown to his back by Gilman. I mean, he didn't even fight it and it was just a simple pancake. Big win + bonus points for Gilman and Iowa at 125.

Something else of note: A.J. Schopp pinned Jimmy Guilibon. Still keeping an eye on Edinboro

Quote from Hank Kornblut's post:
|
"Bob: Loser talk? All I keep hearing from you is how much you fear Moisey. You've mentioned it at least three times.
Bucks will win all three tonight."
|
of course i hope u right Hank-- i see Gillman of Iowa just pinned, so i know the Hawks aint going away.
and i cant apologize for giving an opponent, in this case Moisey, respect for what he does best- the cradle is why he is in the finals as an unseeded. Bobby Douglas told me once, before a match he would always ask, "Does this guy have the cradle?"

BoJo up early on Sulzer 2-0 in the 1st. About 2 minutes of RT for BoJo thus far in the 1st.

The finals order is set with 197, 285, 125, 133, and 141 as the final five. Wouldn't be something if Iowa were to lead going into the finals? The four relevant wrestlers in those last weights. This is not negative thinking! Just proscriptive.

Miller falls to Green 12-4 but is clearly operating on just 1 leg. Gutsy performance by Miller.

Really good fight by Courts but falls 6-2. Was down by just 2 late, took somewhat of a desperate shot, and gave up 2. Was down 3-0, came back to cut the lead 4-2, then gave up that final takedown trying to tie the score.

Those leg passing scrambles killed Kenny. He initiated all the TD's.
