The following Cleveland area wrestlers are in tonight's round of 12 consolations seeking to join semi-finalists Nate Tomasello and David Habat as D1 college All Americans:

149 Tywan Claxton (vs. Neff)
157 Anthony Collica (vs. Minotti)
165 Keith Sulzer (vs. Ohioan Pierce Harger)

Claxton's loss was heartbreaking. In 2OT was up with 3 seconds left and got reversed, standing granby. Gut wrenching.

That was brutal.
It was also hard to watch my fellow Solon alumnus Anthony Collica getting pushed around by bigger guys at 157. The poor kid has been out of his natural 149 weight class these last two seasons because of Kindig. Look for big things from him the next two years at 149.
Collica beat Realbuto at Fargo two years ago at 145. This time, at 157 Collica got teched by Brian. They had one great scramble to begin, but Anthony just didn't have the horsepower to finish it.
