I called Yabo's, and they said they should be able to get a tv on for the 8 pm semifinals tonight. Most eyes will be on NCAA basketball, of course.
Yabo's Tacos: 3051 NW Blvd, Upper Arlington, Ohio.
I also talked to my friend Joe, who has been working on a stat spreadsheet for predictions.
The original rankings, prior to Big 10's, gave tOSU little chance, but the rankings after the 10's put OSU just behind Missouri and Iowa, and not by much, leading into the NCAA's.
At this point, given that stellar 5 for 5, tOSU is in the driver's seat.
If we take Logan out of the picture (just assume he'll win tonight,) then we are left with 4 semifinalists.
If we assume that they are all 50/50 to win tonight, which isn't too far-fetched, then the following predictions can be made:
Winning 0 matches out of the four= 1/16
Winning 1 match out of the four= 4/16
Winning 2 matches out of the four=6/16
Winning 3 matches out of the four=4/16
Winning 4 matches out of the four=1/16
These can be combined, too. The odds of winning 2 or more matches of the four is 11/16, or 69%.
That basically means that, assuming a Logan victory, we can expect 3 or more victories of the 5 semifinals about 7 of every 10 times.

I agree that 50-50 is a stretch on the four Buckeyes, but I'm allowed to wear my Scarlet and Grays now and then.
Tomasello is fair at 50-50. I'd actually put him above it.
Bo is probably less, but I believe he can do it.
Courts is less than 50-50, but he's on fire, and I've got a good feeling about his match. Bet it's close.
Snyder is definitely fair at 50-50.

The fact that Bo lost in the Big 10's may increase that desire to win. He doesn't want to feel like that again on the wrestling mat.
I bet he wins tonight. (Isaac will be close by for encouragement, too.)
