Discussion Topic: Kenny Freakin' COURTS!
Patrick Campbell added to this discussion on March 20, 2015

I have been very critical of Kenny, so I want to be the first to publicly congratulate him for becoming and semifinalist and an AA. You have made is count when it matters Kenny and may well be the deciding factor in the team title. Well done kid!

Best match of his life, and so important for his team.

KC always had the talent and he has put together a great weekend of wrestling. Good Job Kenny! Go win a National Title!

That has always been my contention! I'm glad he is realizing his potential at the right time!

It mattered to him. You could see it by how hard he worked to finish his shots. It was effort/attitude that he often lacked in the past.

Congrats. Great accomplishment.

I listened to the interview with Tom after the matches. He said they adjusted Court's training schedule to help him. Looks like its working.

Yeah, you could see it was helping at Big Tens....

Then it should be really clear what needs to happen with his training from here forward ;-)

"Dear Mr. Courts,

When I was at BIGs, I texted Niemann, "I've only seen Courts wrestle twice, both times he really stressed me out."

While true, I'm sorry I didn't default to a more positive perspective; thank you for winning.

JCWH"

BTW, 2 years ago I remember feeling similar about Heflin. But, he kept showing up at B1Gs and NCAAs. I have already vowed to ignore the regular season next year with Kenny and just wait until B1Gs :-)

Wouldn't it be amazing if they found the training key (using something similar to "Holman's Crucible") to turning Kenny into a human threshing machine?

Personally, I think the entire wrestling staff at tOSU should be fired ;-)

Or maybe Tom Ryan is coach of the year for breaking through and getting Kenny where he belongs!

Sitting in Yabo's after the Big Tens I made the statement that Kenny C. is the most frustrating wrestler I have watched in my life. There is no way he will more than 1 match at NCAAs. Just proves once again I know nothing about wrestling!

Note that the people I was with didn't disagree...but i'm naming names!!
