Some quotes: Coach Tim Flynn, about Ohio State: "They might have the best team in the country, dual-meet wise." Stieber (20-0): "I felt confident and felt good after the first period." Port (29-1)): "I didn't get to enough scoring positions." Habat (29-1): "I'm probably going to get Hunter at nationals, but it was awesome that I got to wrestle Languis again (avenging a loss)." Vic Avery (25-6) about Kenny Courts: "The kid's real tough. He's real fast so I had to stay cautious." Att: 2,773. Good crowd.
