Discussion Topic: If you could whisper in a wrestler's ear during a match....
Bruce Andrews added to this discussion on February 9, 2015

Imagine that they have built a little speaker into the head gear of a wrestler you follow (tOSU, Kent State, wherever) and you were handed a microphone whereby you could talk to a wrestler of your choice during his match. You could provide words of encouragement or perhaps suggest a move to try or a match tactic to utilize (e.g. start stalling)

Who would it be and what would you say?

I know he's no longer competing, but I'd still go with Tom Brands of Iowa.
But in lieu of whispering, I'd blow in his ear, a la Lance Stephenson to Lebron.
Or won't that work by speaker?

I'd whisper to Tony Ramos during his stare down routine "Dude, you look ridiculous."
If not that one then I'd whisper to Lance Palmer before his finals match against Metcalf "make sure you CLEARLY signal for injury time if you need it."

I'd whisper to Snyder, "You're going to win the whole shooting match."

"Stand up" in the spirit of the Lehigh match.

"Move" which is the only word I have told my nephew in regards to wrestling. If he does move, he can win an Ohio state championship in a few weeks.

Who is your nephew?"

Nate Hall from Olentangy. His football team made it late into the post season and finished their run two days after Thanksgiving. He lost a few in early tournaments and has been on a tear ever since. He is a huge 182 lber. Cheer him on! I am going to try and make the districts and then catch the finals of the B10 on Sunday (driving from Northern VA).

Nate Hall is a hammer and is the projected District champion, according to two yahoos from Inside The Circle.

Best of luck to him.
