I liked how the article didn't sugar coat it. Is Heflin moving on with his life? Absolutely. Has the sting of coming so close to, and then losing everything he has worked for worn off? Hurt from a big loss never really goes away, but time and other pursuits do lessen it a great deal. I won't pretend to understand how much it hurts to lose in the finals but it's good to see he got his degree and is focused on moving forward.
