I know its over a week away but let's get the ball rolling
125- Nate vs. ???- Nate needs to get a major
133-Johnni vs. Dardanes - this should be close but giving the edge to Dardanes
141-Logan vs. Dardanes- Dardanes did almost beat him in freestyle but this isn't freestyle and Dardanes did get beat by Carter and Logan majored Carter. I will give Logan a dec. but wouldn't be surprised if Logan majors him.
149-Randy/Hunter vs. Shorts- If Hunter wrestles giving him a dec. but if Randy wrestles giving Shorts the dec.
157-Demas vs. Ness-Should be a great match and Ness can pin from almost anywhere but giving Ness the dec.
165-Bo vs.Wanzek-Bo needs to get the major here if not a pin and I think he gets the major.
174-Martin vs. Storley- Martin keeps it close but Storley gets the dec.
184-Courts vs. Pfarr-I'm going with Pfarr with the dec.
197-Snyder vs. Schiller-Schiller went from 1 to 6 after losing to McIntosh. I think Snyder proves he belongs in the NC talk and gets a dec.
285.-Tavs vs. Kroells- Nick is ranked higher but I see this as a toss-up. If healthy I'm giving the edge to Nick since its at home.
Final team score. I'm going to assume Hunter doesn't wrestle so giving Shorts the dec. and final score Buck win 17-15

Minny's 125 is Ethan Lizak. He wrestled well in spurts against PSU but is tailor made to get ripped up by Nate.
Should be a very good dual with tight matches at 133, 141, 149, 184, 197 and 285. Bucks have clear edge at 125 and 165. 157 and 174 favor Minny.
Logan will get a good test as N. Dardanes is one of the few guys with the skill set to give him a battle in neutral.

"How about Purdue match?"

JDJ vs. Sabatello
Demas vs. Welch
Snyder vs. Atwood
I believe Purdue will be underdogs in the three listed above, but I think Demas -Welch will be very close again and Atwood's experience may help keep things close against K.S.

The Purdue lineup I used was the one that just wrestled PSU
Nate vs. Assad - 2 former OH studs. Nate with the dec. possibly major
Johnni vs. Sabatello- Johnni by dec.
Logan vs. Nick Lawrence - Logan by pin
Randy vs. Nelson - Nelson by dec.
Demas vs. Welch - Probably match of the night and I think Demas by dec.
Bo vs. Robinson - Bo by fall
Martin vs. Welch - Martin by dec. or
Courts vs. Kissel- Courts by dec.
Snyder vs. Stein- Snyder by MD
Gordon vs. Kral- Purdue by dec.
Bucks win 31-6

Last year at Edinboro Open Bo was taking Robinson down at will with a variety of TD's. He may not pin him, but should techfall him at the very least.

Bucks honorary captains for the match are C. Jone and J. Bosa.
Saw a tweet from Jones asking everyone to be there to support the bucks.

If Tav is not back, why not have Cardale wrestle as honorary 285? I wouldn't want to wrestle that guy :-D

A Buckeye is due for an upset win. DiJulius, Demas and Martin each have a shot to do it against Minnesota.

So, I am an old Iowa fan, although I've broken that bad habit the last fifteen years. But, I love the pre-2000 era.
I can't help but wonder if Tom Ryan is a little influenced by the Lincoln Mac late redshirt pull....is it possible we see Micah Jordan weighed in a ready at 149, alongside Languis? If the meet is winnable, do they pull his RS and let him go at 149?
I've always been a huge Languis fan...but I wonder...

Languis seems to not be getting significantly "worse" results this year than last. It's strange.
