Here are some videos of Ohio State vs. Edinboro from four years ago. I was feeling low after seeing how the Bucks performed today, but I remembered how bad it used to be just a few years ago.

With all the secret mystery injuries this season it might seem like tOSU is in bad shape, but it doesn't have nearly the problems of some older teams. Look at the lineup.

125 Touris
133 Paddock
141 Languis
149 Nemec
157 Sponseller
165 Kusar
174 Heflin
184 Capone
197 Magrum
285 Hiles

In that lineup there were four who hadn't redshirted yet six who were making extreme weight cuts. It was weird to see Nemec and Sponseller so sucked down, but it's interesting to watch.

Highlight: Capone vs. Honeycutt. Both guys had made huge cuts and completely gassed at the end of the match, but Honeycutt had more fight in him. It's a dramatic finish.

That was the year that Jameson and Palmer were no longer on the team after career ending injuries and John Weakley and Tyrel Fortune had left the team, too. It was tough times, but eventually, coach Ryan got more reliable recruits, less injuries, and was able to finally let guys redshirt and/or wrestle more natural weights.

The Buckeyes will be battling for second place before you know it and we can all forget about these hiccups early in the season.
