I wasn't sure watching it live whether he just hung on too long and got caught, but they showed a replay. IMO, he absolutely had the opportunity to get off his back.

From track that looked like a mixed bag from Snyder. Great to see him ride out the third, but surprised he gave up two takedowns. Tav with a chance to win the dual.

I would have had Snyder let him up in the 3rd...needed a major there....both teams with a 6 so I'm not sure of criteria

Serious homer call there. Expected. Both guys doing same thing -- so winning wrestler is called. Normally only see that call in high school in OH.

Nothing to be sorry about. The call was horrid. He was horrid all evening - though he won't be buying his own drinks tonight in Blacksburg. Tav had match won in regulation.
TR should have some choice words for him.

Regardless of bad calls....if your down by 2 with 26 seconds left and don't make an offensive attack....well....you just cant do that. And yes...Va. Tech scored one more point throughout the dual. Giving up escapes on the edge with under 5 seconds in a period matters =) Also, as a coach you need to have someone telling you the situation....no way they should have had Snyder ride out that third period.
However, I did like the fight from numerous Buckeyes...Virginia Tech simply fought harder.
