Congrats to all the inductees. But if you're going to induct a guy on the strength of the fact he was a two time D1 AA, you'd better plan on letting in a lot of other wrestlers with similar credentials. And what about guys who excelled at non D1 schools who were multiple AA's or multiple champs? Lots of coaches now have cases to make for their former wrestlers.

at least 4 resonate with me: coach COGHILL long distinguished career with youth & at Chanel hs-- Jim HOUGHTALING began the famed MIT so long ago-- Jeff JORDAN a 2X college AA at Wisconsin (4th placer) has put not only SPG but his camps too on the national map-- Frank ROMANO has put Notre Dame College on the national map to crown his long career in both hs where he was a 2X state champ & college where he was a 2X captain at Ohio St U.

i copied past years from the State Chapter website, there is a Outstanding American and a Medal of Courage award that may go to one person per year each. However Lifetime Service is the criteria for most Ohio chapter inductees-- and that in reality seems to exclude guys who were merely great wrestlers in hs & college. Lifetime Service is just that, many years of distinguished service often in various capacities:
