OU continues to quietly nab solid kids. Good job.

Hank: I agree. I think their last two classes - maybe three - have been great.
I hope they can develop the talent and make good noise at the NCAAs.

Talent development has been solid the last several years in Athens. Last year they had 6 NQs and 1 AA. Aside from Hightower none had more than 1 state title in HS (if memory serves).
Academic achievement has been high as well. The program is in a good place.
The 2014 class was good not great. I'm a huge fan of Reese, but the rest are blue-collar commits. Webb was 2nd in Fargo FS recently at heavy, so perhaps I have overlooked his credentials.
My point: they are on a successful run without blue-chip recruits. Development has been strong.

Great to read, Ethan. Makes me want to travel down to a dual meet, if for nothing else than to buy a Bobcat wrestling shirt!
Perhaps I will...
EDIT: Hmmmmmmm... No schedule for 2014-15. Arrrrrgh...

This seems to be the Kent model under Andrassy. OU took more risks in the past. Appears they're now more focused on grabbing kids with character that will stick with it.
