According to track Sanders stuck Escobedo after he was down 8-0. Still haven't seen confirmation for this yet.

Tough match for Logan. UGH.
I must have missed a rule change where a double leg is a 4pt td. Someone care to explain?

4 Point Takedown
-To the Freestyle wrestler who brings his opponent into a danger position by direct projection and demonstrates control. Short amplitude is not required in Freestyle.
- For any hold executed by raising a wrestler from the ground, over a short amplitude, even if one or both of the attacking wrestler’s knees are on
the ground.
- If, in performing a hold, the defending wrestler maintains contact with the mat with one of his hands, but is immediately placed in a danger position, the
attacking wrestler will receive 4 points.

Thanks Jerry. Easier to score 4pts is fine by me -- I'd love it if a match that ended in a tie isn't broken by who had the highest scoring move / more of the same value scoring moves. Just makes me wince.

Man, can't believe that wasn't two at the end, but I guess by defnition it wasn't.
Logan will overtake Oliver when he is training full time FS. That's my conclusion from that match.

Logan should have started training full time in freestyle a few years ago IMO.
Logan's got Marion next. Not an easy match when you've just lost to JO.

Escobedo loses then defaults out. My biggest pet peeve.

One thing about JO, he never cried or complained about that close match with Logan in NCAA's. They even tweet back & forth at times. JO even tweeted that Logan is a three time National Champ, no ifs ands or buts, when one of his detractors was rehashing that first title. Seems like a class act. Unlike some people who moan & complain, and find all kinds of excuses when they lose.

Good -- but bad (that he got actually injured).
Glad he just didn't say, screw it I'm done. At that level, sadly it's not that uncommon.
