-Irrational nervousness around scales
-Inability to control myself from elbow chopping my crawling baby cousins
-Hugs always end up in over-unders
-Nervous tick of playing w/ my cauliflower ear(s)
-NEVER comfy laying/being/sleeping on my back
-Heart starts to race everytime I hear the national anthem (being a lightweight, it usually means I'm up quite soon)
-Inability to sympathize with friends who are "starving"
- Literally hundreds of wrestling dreams about being over-weight, having a short time to make a huge cut, etc......
- There is no sipping any drink, ever

When the nurse asks me to get on the scale at the doctor's office, I am annoyed that she seems perfectly satisfied recording my weight when I am fully clothed with wallet, cellphone and keys in my pocket.
When I am watching a tight match I find that I am leaning very hard into the person sitting next to me and that my legs are tightly wrapped around the chair legs.

Bruce: I lean. And occasionally pace, with hands clutched on top of my head. I also do this nervous, giddy squeal type thing. Potentially embarrassing.

I still rock from side to side with my hand on my heart when I hear the National Anthem. Former 3 lber. I finally stopped placing the imaginary head gear on about 5 yrs ago.

I too have a quirk with the scale at the doctor's office. I get a little nervous as if there is some weight I'm supposed to make and failure to do so means my doctor's appointment is cancelled.

Great topic!
my main quirk:
too often looking for cauliflower ear and trying to guess their weight class. (Slight repeat of what Justin Hayes said).
Then I feel compelled to ask them if they wrestled and confirm weight class.
Now my wife is spotting cauliflower Ear and she is pretty good at pointing out a wrestler by the way they walk.

I haven't wrestled/coached for years, but each morning I scroll through the dot.net, yappi, themat, and flo with the same zeal as a Wall Street broker scrolls through the WSJ, Bloomberg, Barons, etc.

That annoys the crap out of me too, Bruce...I KNOW I'm not that heavy! At least write down my REAL weight!!!
"Shaun Smith" I still rock from side to side with my hand on my heart when I hear the National Anthem. Former 3 lber.
I do the same things...including rolling the ankles and neck sometimes to loosen up....although it was 98 lbs in my day.

Thought so. Off topic but your state finals match with Tomazz Wilson was epic. I have never seen another state finals with so many big moves. Incredible.

I counted 62 big moves! (Not really, but the way they went after it - in the state finals no less - brings me to a standing "O" every time I watch it!)
EDIT: "O" = ovation, you sick and twisted freaks! ;-) (pointing at you Costilow!)

Thanks Hank & Mark. Kind of funny to be known more the one I lost than the one I won. It's definitely cool to have been a part of that match. I still expect a different result when I watch it though. :)
