Woo-ski is pretty special.
However, I would guess that Bruce Mauer won't be happy.

Wow, I have not heard Jeff Woo's name in a long time. I saw him wrestle many times back in the late 70's.
It is a shame that any one company can buy the broadcast rights to a high school event if they do not make the video accessible to the wider public. I think it denies the athletes the exposure they would get with college coaches, who might not be able to attend.

Jeff Woo once told me that a cross face couldn't go across the face. True story.

I stated that at a tournament once. Two coaches and three refs showed me a rule book stating "you cannot apply pressure to the face". My retort to the refs - if you know this, why don't you stop every cross face?
Crickets.

Brady - what are your thoughts on the kid Reese wrestled in the finals? Is he a college wrestler in the making?

I think he has the body type to be a successful college wrestler. Reese is a very tough wrestler on top and had a harder time on top vs. Moore than anybody else. I think some had to do with nerves on Austin's part, but I'll still give credit to Moore. He needs to become more proficient on his feet but I believe that is something a college coach/room can rectify.
I'll temper my comments by saying that I don't know anything personally about the kid and a successful college wrestler has more attributes that just being a good wrestler.

2x state finalist without a loss before the state finals in either year will get him D1 looks. However, I couldn't tell you to what extent because his in-season schedule is (relatively) invisible and he hasn't tested himself in competitively relevant off-season platforms (i.e. NHSCA, Flo, Disney, Super32).
The in-state programs outside of Ohio State would be foolish not to make a major evaluation on him though, that much I'll say.
