Yep… Tav needed at least 1 win to really give him a shot. He has to hope an at-large will get him in.

I just figured out what the Buckeyes need to qualify for the NCAAs.
To Qualify for NCAA tourney:
125 Nick Roberts must win the next match then win 1 of 2 next matches.
133 Johnni DiJulius needs to win next match to qualify.
141 Logan Stieber already qualified for NCAA.
149 Ian Paddock must win next two matches to qualify.
157 Randall Languis must win next match to qualify.
165 Joe Grandominico must win next match to qualify.
174 Mark Martin must win next match then win 1 of 2 next matches.
184 Kenny Courts must win next match then win 1 of 2 next matches.
197 Nick Heflin has already qualified.
285 Nick Tavanello must win the next match to qualify if not then has to win two straight matches to qualify
Keep in mind- Big Ten can send 9 HWTs to NCAAs thus the bit longer path for Nick Tavanello. Same thing occurred for Kosta Karageorge last year but Kosta won only one match.
Edit: Here's the updated brackets for anyone interested-

The Track Wrestling brackets have been updating more quickly if you are not able to watch on the internet.

Yeah, track wrestling live scores has been ahead of the Wisconsin all-access 4 mat views all day.
I didn't want to know the live scores but there was no score on mat view so, I'm stuck with spoilers. It is hard not to look at trackwrestling live scores!

Roberts, Paddock, Martin and Courts all have enough quality wins this year that they'd stand a good chance to receive wild cards if necessary. Dijulius has an interesting match next round as this wrestler upset Joe Roth from CMU in a dual. Heflin and Stieber continue to maul the competition. Dardanes barely got past Sabatello (who's surprisingly tough). Logan will do what's necessary to win. But don't expect a mauling. Could be more of a 5-1 type affair (or it could be a mauling).
Bucks, unfortunately, ended up with tough draws due to those duals with Wiscy, Michigan, Nebraska and Purdue. Too many unexpected losses hurt a lot of their seeds. And neither Courts nor Martin seem very healthy. It is what it is.

Andrew Waldon: Excellent breakdown of what each wrestler needs. Much appreciated.
Also: Where did you wrestle in high school? And when?

Well, I wrestled for Upper Arlington HS in 1984-1985 before transferring to the boarding school, MSSD, in DC.

Odds:
125 - Roberts won a close one over Brancale, and lost a close one to Youtsey. If he repeats that he has (likely) Eppert or Lambert, 2 guys he lost to. 20% he is an AQ.
133 - JDJ pinned Yenter the first time, but it was close at the time. I put the odds at 85%.
141 - Already an AQ.
149 - Paddock should beat Roach, then has Nelson/English. I put his odds squarely at 50/50.
157 - I put the odds at about 5% of Languis beating Alton.
165 - I put the odds at about 5% of Grandominico beating Wilson.
174 - Martin should beat the MSU guy, then he has either Ligel or Irick. Again, I would think he would win that. If not, he would probably have Zeerip. I put his odds at 70%.
184 - Courts should beat the NU guy, and I think he gets by Sheridan as well. If not he has Hein/Reyes (likely). I think he gets through and put his odds at 70% as well.
197 - Already an AQ.
285 - Tav is going to lose to Coon. Then he will likely have to beat White (he should) and then the Jensen/Medberry loser. Both have beaten him. I put his odds at 20%.
