Who covers expenses (entry fees, food, hotel, transportation) when a red-shirt wrestles unattached in an open tournament? Is the wrestler responsible for this? Or does the school pay some or all of the expenses? Is it different for DI and DII?

As a redshirt you are not allowed to recieve and assistance financially for open tournaments.
