Kent State University's M.A.C. Center boasts a rich history of athletic events dating back to 1952 but for the first time ever on Friday, February 8, 2013, the storied arena will feature gymnastics and wrestling meets at the same time. The unique "Beauty and the Beast" event will see the Golden Flashes take on Rutgers in gymnastics and Cleveland State in wrestling.
Prior to the event, kids can enter a coloring contest. The winner will receive a Future Flashes prize pack including a t-shirt, backpack, pennant and much more!
During the event, "Beauty and the Beast" characters will interact with fans. Afterward, Kent State University gymnasts and wrestlers will be available to sign autographs.
The action begins at 7:00 p.m.

Ticket Prices
-- $8 per ticket in the Lower Level (Sections I, J, K and L, specific seat locations)
-- $5 per ticket for adults in the Upper Level
-- $4 per ticket for youth (14 and younger) and seniors (60 and up) in the Upper Level
-- $3 per ticket for groups of 15 or more in the Upper Level

It is madness inside the MACC with both gymnastics and wrestling at the same time. Great atmosphere!

The place is packed! And gymnasts are really loud and kind of annoying with all of the screaming. lol
Mitcheff beats Willeford 11-5.
McGuire beats Carlone 8-5.
Kern loses 14-4 to Flannery.
Candiello gets pinned by Mencini. CSU up on KSU 10-6.
Sasfy beats Donohoe 8-4.
Marsh beats Carlo 3-1. KSU 12 CSU 10.
Wheeler wins by TF against Dye early in the 2nd.
Newburg wins by TF.
Kilgore wins by forfeit.
KSU is beating Rutgers .5 with the final exercise left.
Wrestlers AND coaches are watching the gymnasts. LMAO

Wheeler didn't wrestle Dye, he wrestled a 165 I believe (not sure who). He looked very good, dominating on his feet (his final TD at the end of the 1st was filthy) and getting two turns as well. I was looking forward to seeing Kilgore wrestle, too bad CSU FF the weight...

You're correct. It was Mike Monson that Wheeler wrestled.
