Ohio st has $$, heck they just parted ways earlier than expected with 2 four timers ColinP & TonyJ, and an almost 4xer Nemec-- plus Colt graduated --- there is substantial $$ still available for recruiting, by wrestling standards!

but the mountain is very high-- past personnel screwups by the buckeyes in the face of Penn st building a dynasty, and Iowa having a dynasty, aint good.

i get tired of hearing about "HOPE" --

In life "hope" is often talked about by those with little of it. Woody Hayes once said the word he hated the most in the English language was "hopefully". s/BobP

Bob:
Hypothetical question--what if Lehmann and Campolatano both want to come?

-----------

Hank,
if u appoint me coach for a day: i give em the money to get BOTH, since great big men are so hard to come by, very very hard to come by esp compared to 133 thru 165s.

as for Ryan, i think he goes BIG for both if he can get em, 197 Lehman and 285 Campo. Offer them both over 90 % ---

theres great middle wts available almost every year in Ohio unless the kid is another David Taylor or Bo Jordan then you gotta offer him like he was a great big man. s/BobP

Jason,
Nice write up. Heavy on the optimism.

125- Triggas
Should be a R12 or better. Not sure how much the red shirt helped. Can't seem to find much in the way of results.

133- Logan Stieber
Tons of street cred, but caught the injury bug. Looks like 133 next year is going to be last years 141....loaded!
Any AA would be an accomplishment.

141- Paddock? Hunter Stieber?
Paddock will qualify but is most likely 1-2

149- Langius? Kusar?
I like Kusar here and think he can make a push to be a qualifier. Most likely this weight stays home again.

157- Demas
Josh is fun to watch but will be a fringe qualifier at best

165- Garcia
Don't know a thing about him other than what I read on line. High school stud but little info on the "open" circuit since. Should qualify but hard to see him more than 2-2

174- Helfin
What a pleasant surprise. He should improve to the podium.(6-8)

184- Mangrum
I think he tremendous upside and will be pushed by Courts.
1-2 qualifier

197- Capone
Needs to put some mass on to compete with the best.
0-2

285- ????
This spot needs a transfer.

6-8 qualifiers and 2-3 AA's for 2012

Red shirt the incoming class, wrestle them in the opens as much as possible and 2013 could be the Buckeyes version of the 2011 Penn State breakout.
