Dan Cosimi added to this discussion on March 20, 2011 Congratulations to Dustin Kilgore on winning the 2011 NCAA Division 1 Wrestling National Championship at 197 pounds. Kilgore became Kent State University's first-ever national champion, third national finalist and nineteenth All-America wrestler. He helped lead the Golden Flashes to their highest-ever team point total (37), their third-consecutive top 25 finish as a team and their second top 20 finish in the past three seasons. Kilgore, who compiled a 38-2 record this season, is already Kent State University's all-time leader in wins.
