Ryan better head on the PA Turnpike to NJ right now!

Woooww this is big news indeed, Marlo. Especially since Penn State's roster is decidedly packed and they picked up McIntosh.

Get Chris and Snoop out there to put his head in the right place.

I wonder if his head isn't committed he is a guy you want? Plus, is he a tweener? Cody Gardner comes to mind.

If committed, a great talent.

That's probably a great question, Roe. The kind that discerns whether or not this is going to be a guy who will leave the team in a couple years or the like (not that there's anything wrong with quitting wrestling if you're heart's not in it).

Probably the only real way to answer it is by talking to the guy.

Update
http://highschoolsports.nj.com/videoplayer/804920/bound-brook-star-andrew-campolattano-reneges-on-football-verbal-to-rutgers-sits-down-with-ledger-to-discuss-his-wrestling-future/
Can you imagine one day a line up of:
25 stieber
33 dijulius
41 stieber
49 tessari
57 martinez
65 garcia
74 demas
84 courts
97 campolattano/tavenello
285 kuhar/tavenello
Hopefully Ryans redshirts everyone next year, I don't mind taking another year of a butt whooping with this lineup the following years to come.

After a day, my thoughts have shifted a little bit. On the surface it seems that Campolattano would be a great person to wrestle at 97, and I think he will. However, if they wind up getting "greyshirt" like they've been talking about, that also fills the spot.

If they were to land both "greyshirt" and Campo, that is good. However, I've become a big fan of Tavanello and would like to see him at OSU, too. I like the way he works in matches and I think he's the kind of Ohio guy that it's important to get if you can. Hard to imagine a talent like Campolattano not improving any team, though.

So I guess there are too many possibilities and things I don't know about for me to form a very "quality" opinion. I guess I just hope it ends up best for the wrestlers.

Who is the Greyshirt you are talking about?

Ben I agree very much so. I like the Wadsworth kid he is a great talent. I really hope Ohio State don't let another Big man get away. With that said I would love to land Camp also. From what I remember at one time he said he was very interested in OSU.

Pretty sure it's Tyler Lehman.

He didn't end up going to Minnesota, and instead went to OTC.

What are the chances he ends up at OSU?

okay...i know this sounds a bit obsessive on my part, but just had to go down this road...

being a pretty stacked/ripped 215 (based on pics/videos), is there a chance he gains some weight still? maybe 225-230 or so? and in two years:

megaludis (stepping in for pataky)
long
alton
alton (stepping in for molinaro)
taylor
kemerer (assuming he continues to improve
ruth
wright
mcintosh
campo

just had to see that on "paper"...wow...

Money talks and the Bucks may have more to spend than Penn State right now. Remember that Palmer and Jameson no longer count towards the 9.9

Campolattano would take the sting out of losing out on McCauley at the last minute. He really makes sense if he projects as a future 285. How tall is he?
