Nemec beating Kusar is, to me, a bit of a surprise given Kusar has competed well at 165. It seems putting Kusar at 157 and Nemec at 149 might be the best team move.

I'd love to see both Nemec and Kusar in the lineup but Nemec was awful at 149. Even though he lost twice this weekend, I'd still like to see him settle in and consistently compete at 157. He's a good wrestler in a rut and he'll come out of it with time at this more appropriate weight class.

Two interesting tidbits from Ryan's interview:
1) Demas will not be an option this season
2) John Hiles has left the team.

I'm glad Demas will redshirt. I think that is what is best.

Hiles spent two years competing in open events and was seen as someone that was ready to step in when Morrison graduated. Suddenly he's gone. On the surface, that's a real head scratcher.
