Just a comment on the 32 man bracket for the state title. The only problem I see is how do you get the top 32 (or 48 or 64). It's already pretty crowded up in the Akron-Cleveland area with 3 divisions. Worthy wrestlers who might place are left at home every year in each division as it is.
I don't think these changes are pertaining to wrestling, as the article states. More for football is my thinking.
