This will all be a blip on the radar in the years to come. The formula Tom Ryan is using is a sound formula for creating a monster team in the very near future. It's hard not to be excited about things to come. The singular thing that sums it up or puts it in perspective for me personally is what he said near the very end up the interview when talking about the 3 kids he will have fighting it out for 157 next season: Demas, Nemec, and Kusar. Just 5 years ago we, as fans, would have been elated to have any one of those three in the line-up. Now we've got all three battling it out for that one spot. We've never had that in the past. The next step is getting that at every single weight class!

Great interview! Coach Ryan was straight foward and answered all of the questions. With him as their leader, the Buckeyes will be back in the near future!

Does anyone know anything about Tyler Lehman that coach Ryan says they are recruiting?

I would also say that hearing Coach speak makes me like Colt even more. Hopefully he is ready to rock and roll at 65 and can cap a great career with an AA finish.

I never doubted Ryan and the long term. I just am frustrated about the way the season is going.
I love it when a coach is open and honest like he is. It's a definate change from the past where we were all left in the dark wondering what is going on. Better yet is they are throwing in the towel for the season they're going back to the drawing board and fixing the problems.
I maybe critical at times of moves and decisions but I have to give praise where praise is due. Tom Ryan is a class act and for him to open to the public like that is remarkable.
