2. Glenn Garrison, Colorado Springs, Colo. (U.S. Army)
3. Ellis Coleman, Colorado Springs, Colo. (NYAC)
4. C.P. Schlatter, Minneapolis, Minn. (Minnesota Storm)
5. Ben Sanchez, Marquette, Mich. (USOEC)
6. Tanner Andrews, Marquette, Mich. (USOEC)
7. Zach Lamano, Layton, Utah (Fronhofer WC)
8. Matt Holt, Colorado Springs, Colo. (Unattached)
9. Kerry Regner, Darlington, Pa. (Sunkist Kids)
10. Joel Ahern, Camp LeJune, N.C. (Marines)
This one caught me by surprise. I didn't start paying attention to high school wrestling until the end of C.P.'s high school career and, to my knowledge, he never competed in Greco during college. Can anyone shed more light to his Fargo/Greco experience? Jumping right into the 4th slot is impressive, even though it's not an incredibly deep weight.

I saw that Schlatter got third place at the Sunkist Open, and I couldn't believe that he was at 145.5. It's great to hear that he is back in the swing of things.
Hopefully, we can go back to eight weight classes or even ten like it used to be for international competition. It's terrible to see guys like Cyler Sanderson get pushed around by Howe because of the size advantage.
Is there some kind of petition people can sign to reinstate some more weight classes?

C.P. did win the Junior Pan Ams in Greco in 2004. He probably would have won freestyle as well, but in one of his matches he tore his ACL and had to withdraw.
