Discussion Topic: Chris Phillips makes decision

I too never considered that Demas could make 157. I also felt that Tessari would more likely grow to 149. I do not, however, have intimate knowledge of any of these kids and defer to those most in the know. What I do know is that the more talent in the room the better and that kids wanting into the lineup will grow or shrink themselves into a spot if they want to wrestle badly enough.

Discussion Topic: Chris Phillips makes decision

It seems as if guys are flying all over the country and should give us all a lot to watch in the future, Here is my take on Chris Phillips. He has gone unchallanged most of his career, even the loss last year at ironman didn't seem that his movement was at his best. Not since Rody has he been really pushed, and that was his freshman year. He will be as great as he wants, the kid has skills, strength, and technique that are far and away better than the rest. He posses all the intangebles to be a 4x aa and an NCAA champ. I will take pride in the fact that he comes from Ohio and plan to watch his climb, He is 2012 material, I hope he understands that and takes his place with the other greats of the weight,
Ohio athletes are a special breed, tough!
