Great School took my team down there for Competition Camp years ago Carter Jordan was just taking over - great campus - good for him.

Good luck to Mr. Phillips as he persues his dream. Congrats to him and his family.

As a fan of Ohio High School wrestling I wish him ALL the success - and health - in the world.

Side note: I wonder if we'll see any "this is crap, he owes us" posts. Those people crack me up!

He owes himself the best future possible. If he feels that NC State is the best fit for him then he made the right decision.

Dang, strike three. McIntosh, Macauley and now Phillips. Really wanted to see one top notch upper weight in this class.

Congrats to Chris Phillips. Perhaps he will succeed Darrion Caldwell as the next great NC State stud.

JP: You're forgetting the lavishly talented Kenny Courts. Watch some video of him on Flo.

they got one, Ken Courts will be the best upperwt in the class, if his health stays intact. --btw McCauley sees himself as a 149, Ohio st has a future 149 Hunter Stieber.

What do you think Tessari projects as Bob?

Tesari 141, H Stieber 149, Demas 157, Garcia 165--- looking good in the future. But need a heavyweight recruit.

Demas at 157? Is this with all four limbs still intact?

Interesting choice--I never would have thought of it because NC State is so remote and not all that prominent of a wrestling school.

Good for him, though. Great weather and it would probably be a fun place to wrestle.

Not that Courts isn't the man. Because HE IS THE MAN!!! But I do agree with this statement... Of these three, one would have been nice. Oh well, can't change it now. Move forward with DEVELOPING the talent IN YOUR room! (Not yours in the specific sense, but in the generic sense.)

Phillips is a great wrestler but not an upperwt and not in a strong area of need for Ohio State. You can't ever have too much talent but you do have to decide upon whom to commit your scholly dollars.

Best of luck to Chris. If tOSU had to lose him, I'm glad it was not a Big10 school.

Hank, I agree with you about Demas... 157 seems small for him.
